Scheduling and Kevin's Health Update
On August 1, 2025, Kevin retired from BYU. While traveling in Sweden to celebrate his retirement, he experienced a serious medical emergency that required an extended hospital stay, including time in the ICU, three major surgeries, and significant complications.
We are deeply grateful to the exceptional hospital staff in Falun, Sweden, whose expertise and care were instrumental in saving his life. We are also thankful for his wife’s family in Borlänge, Sweden, who provided constant support and care during and after his hospitalization.
After careful consideration and consultation with his doctors, we are taking steps to make this upcoming tax season as manageable and stress-free as possible to support Kevin’s continued recovery. This will include a reduced evening schedule and planned breaks throughout the season to allow his body the time it needs to heal.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this tax season together. These adjustments are necessary to ensure Kevin’s health and prevent further hospitalization. We sincerely appreciate your support and continued trust.
